While you might be tuned in to our interconnection enough for that to be recognised, there are still a class of people out there who, through an assumption of separation and intoxicated on power, seem to derive their happiness and fulfilment only when it's taken from someone else, or when someone has to lose for them to win.

Power-hungry plunderers, bandits and assholes.

These same people always claim they're taking from you for your own good, for the common good, to save the world, for the children, etc. etc. etc.
