Many of the pro-censorship leftists these days are also very "Anti-West" in their rhetoric, and this often automatically translates to Anti-Christian.

Personally I find it difficult to have focused conversations with them about Islam, for example, because they are constantly trying to derail and divert the conversation back to Christianity and (what they perceive to be) The West.

You could probably get them on-board with a bit of "bible revisionism" ... It'd be a somewhat safer bet for them than to call for outlawing it, which I'm sure many would be happy to do.
