I do wonder about the future of cinema even though I never go.

What I'm concerned about is media (alongside social media) is going a long way to disconnecting us socially.

How long until people can generate their own feature-length films with some kind of AI? And how long until people simply stop watching things together because it becomes another "socially awkward" experience?

I used to love going to people's houses and checking out their VHS/DVD collection, the posters on their walls, what's in their bookshelves.

Now, there's almost none of that.
